If you are a tourist, and do not count with a a legalised police record, you will need to request, 48 hours in advance of entering Ecuador, an exceptional authorisation for foreigners travelling as tourists, sending the following information to this email: ayuda.turistas@turismo.gob.ec

  • Entry date to Ecuador
  • Exit date from Ecuador
  • Copy of your passport
  • Information of which border control you will enter Ecuador
  • Details or itinerary of the activities you plan to carry out in Ecuador
  • Copies of any reservations (legally registered tour operators or accommodation).

Prepare your documents with enough time in advance and enjoy your stay in Ecuador!
