COMUNICADO: ECUADOR DECREES STATE OF EMERGENCY IN ORDER TO INCREASE SECURITY

 (Quito, Pichincha). – Ecuadorian authorities have decreed a State of Emergency for 60 days in order to increase security in specific areas, which may cause an increased presence of police and army in given places.

Tourist operations are not affected in any way and will continue without restrictions.

We encourage tourists to continue with their travel plans and to visit and enjoy Ecuador.
