On this friday morning, the volcano remains cloudy and no ashfall is reported. The seismicity maintains in the same conditions as in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry of Tourism visited affected areas with staff of the Secretary of Risk Management, Geophysical Institute and Municipality of Mejia.
Establishments operating normally: Cotopaxipungo, Santa Ana del Pedregal, Hacienda El Porvenir, Secret Garden and Ruta de los Volcanes Restaurant.
Establishments operating from 06:00 to 17:00: Los Mortiños, 4 volcanes Restaurant, Chilcabamba and Mauca Pedregal.

In the specific case of Tambopaxi located within the Cotopaxi National Park, which has been closed for precaution, can only operate under the authorization of the Ministry of Environment.
