Wednesday night was the opening event for the 37^th Travel Mart Latin America 2013 in Chimbacalle’s traditional train station in Quito. Local and worldwide tourism authorities, special guests and more than 300 tour operators and leisure companies were present.

The Minister of Tourism, Dr. Vinicio Alvarado highlighted Ecuador as an ultimate touristic destination, “I’m sure that each member from the business roundtable shall understand that kindness from our people is a plus when we present Ecuador as a touristic destination. You all are received by a country which can easily communicate and work. All you need is Ecuador”.

TMLA CEO, Bill Coleman, said that “is great that TMLA, the most important trade event from the whole continent, is to be based in Quito. This way worldwide tourism is settled, and so on all those beautiful places presented by each destination may be well harnessed”.
